Welcome to https://www.reemcook.com (the “Site”). We respect the intellectual property rights of others just as we expect others to respect our rights. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their agents may submit a takedown notice to us via our designated DMCA Agent, as described below.
As an internet service provider, we are entitled to claim immunity from infringement claims pursuant to the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To submit a good faith infringement claim, you must provide us with a notice containing the following information:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner);
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material (please include the URL of the page in question);
- Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact you, such as your name, physical address, email address, and telephone number;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you knowingly misrepresent that material or activity is infringing.
All takedown notices should be sent via our Contact page. We strongly encourage email submissions for faster handling.
By submitting a claim, you acknowledge and agree that we may share your complaint and contact details with the alleged infringer.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you believe that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter notification with us. Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3), your counter notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- A description of the content that was removed and its original location before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your jurisdiction (or any U.S. judicial district if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
Counter notices should also be submitted via our Contact page. Email is preferred for timely processing.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We take copyright violations seriously. In accordance with the DMCA’s requirements for repeat infringer policies, we maintain a record of DMCA notices and make a good faith effort to identify repeat infringers. Accounts of repeat infringers may be terminated.
